Our Staff
Learn more about the amazing staff at Raymore Christian Church!
I have enjoyed a professional life in Finance for over 39 years. My passion, however, is teaching others about God's word. I have held most positions in the church such as: Jr. Deacon, Deacon, Elder, Head Elder, Sunday school teacher, Chairman of the Board, Church Treasurer, Stewardship chairman, multiple Bible studies, fill in minister for many churches, Interim minister and Transitional Ministry Leader. I have lead evangelism teams and taught Babes in Christ through discipleship training. My passion in life is to assist the Holy Spirit in leading others to Christ. I believe the more others are educated about the Bible and the training of future leaders will strengthen God's true saving knowledge. God has a plan for each of our lives. I know God has lead me to Raymore Christian Church for the specific reason of building a spiritual base for the future.
Ruthann has lived in Raymore since July 2019 and lives with her husband Bill and Black Lab Cassie. Her interests besides working at Raymore Christian Church include reading "light" murder mysteries, baking, walking Cassie and wildlife photography. Previous positions were working in hospitals, retirement facilities, large universities and in retail (sales and restaurants) and now--a church. She's very happy to be here!
Sarah is in her eleventh year at Bright Cherubs Preschool. She began her work at Bright Cherubs Preschool as an Early Learner teacher in 2012 and held that position for six years. After six years of being in the classroom, she transitioned to the Director of Bright Cherubs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations from Drury University. The blend between education and business in the role of Preschool Director naturally fit together in 2018. It has been both challenging and rewarding ever since! Her favorite thing about Bright Cherubs is the relationships with families and lasting friendships. Watching those develop in both parents and staff over the years has been just one of the many highlights. Sarah has enjoyed working with the teachers at Bright Cherubs Preschool and the board of Raymore Christian Church to create a strong vision for Bright Cherubs that includes ensuring we are a unique and close knit group of individuals that provides a positive, caring and Christ centered early childhood education environment for both the children and the teachers to enjoy each day.
Sarah resides in Raymore with her husband and two teenage boys, who are both Bright Cherubs alumni! She loves to spend time with family and friends, watching her boys participate in Cross Country, Track, Theatre and Robotics events. She enjoys traveling with her family around the US and abroad.
