Our Staff

Mike has been serving in ministry since 2012, including a year as a Hospice & Palliative Care Chaplain with Avow Hospice in Naples, Florida. He holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Ministry from Colorado Theological Seminary, as well as a Certificate in Ministry Studies from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Mike and his wife, Bonnie, were married in 2013. They have one daughter, Rachel, who lives in Naples with her husband, Brad. Mike and Bonnie are longtime Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fans and share a deep love for people and animals-especially dogs. They currently have one beloved dog, Joy Rose. Mike is also a published author of three books and the creator of the trademarked logo "Hugs and Blessings." 

Ruthann has lived in Raymore since July 2019 and lives with her husband Bill and Black Lab Cassie. Her interests besides working at Raymore Christian Church include reading "light" murder mysteries, baking, walking Cassie and wildlife photography. Previous positions were working in hospitals, retirement facilities, large universities and in retail (sales and restaurants) and now--a church. She's very happy to be here!

Sarah began her work at Bright Cherubs Preschool as an Early Learner teacher in 2012 and held that position for six years. After six years of being in the classroom, she transitioned to the Director of Bright Cherubs in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations from Drury University. Sarah has enjoyed working with the teachers at Bright Cherubs Preschool and the board of Raymore Christian Church to create a strong vision for Bright Cherubs. Sarah resides in Raymore with her husband and two teenage boys, who are both Bright Cherubs alumni! She loves to spend time with family and friends, watching her boys participate in their various activities and traveling.
