The Music Ministry of Raymore Christian Church is a vibrant, active, and continually growing ministry committed to praising God and leading others in worship and prayer through song. We seek to fulfill our mission of Feed God’s People by putting into action Psalm 150. Chancel Choir – This adult choir sings anthems and provides musical leadership at the 10:30 service on Sunday mornings as well as special programs during Christmas and Easter. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 in the Sanctuary. No experience is required! Praise Team – This small ensemble is committed to leading contemporary praise and worship at the 8:30 service on Sunday mornings. We are always welcoming folks who wish to be a part of this Spirit-led style of worship, especially those who play instruments and have the ability to improvise. Contact Suzanne for more information on joining this group. RCC Handbell Choir – After a lengthy hiatus, the Handbell choir is once again ringing! Open to any adult or older youth, no experience is required to participate. The handbells will play periodically at the 10:30 service, as well as at special services throughout the year. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:00-6:55 in the Handbell Room. Soloist Ministries – We are always welcoming folks who have talents as a soloist (vocal or instrumental) and are looking for an opportunity to minister. Some opportunities include Sunday morning services, special services, and other events at the church such as weddings and funerals.
